If you’re a digital publishing business owner, or an Internet marketer looking to shift your focus towards publishing, then you may be interested in enrolling in Anik Singal’s new “Publish Academy” training program…
As a digital publisher myself I was eager to see what this program was all about, and I also wanted to give my readers my opinion on this course to help you decide if this is something that would be a good fit for you. Lets face it, there are a lot of overhyped Internet marketing courses out there and it’s my job to help people figure out which ones are worth their investment.
So, I have endeavored to write a concise, to the point review of this program that will hopefully give you all of the info that you need to know. I’ll start off by giving you an overview of what you get in the course, and then finish off with some Pros and Cons to consider and my final recommendation on the programs value.
Overview Of What You Get And What You’ll Learn…
Basically Publish Academy is an A-to-Z training program on how to create digital products, how to build high converting sales funnels, and then getting traffic to your sales funnel via both free and paid traffic.
There is a lot more to it, which I will be going over in a moment, but that’s the jist of it. In case you are new around here, a “digital product” is something like an eBook or an online training course, and a “sales funnel” is a collection of webpages like opt-in pages, salespages, video sales letters, upsell pages and so forth that are built to maximize conversions.
Moving on – the course itself is fully digital and is delivered through a members only website where you can access all of the training and software tools. The main training is done via video, which is nice because it let’s you look over Anik’s shoulder as he shows you everything that goes into building up your business. I also like the fact that you get access to all of the video training right away, so it’s not like you need to wait around for new videos to be released or anything like that, instead you are free to process the information at your own pace.
I won’t go over every last detail of what you get and what you learn in every module (you can see it all explained here) but here is a basic overview of the training:
- Module 1 – Niche Research (self explanatory)
- Module 2 – Product Creation (self explanatory)
- Module 3 – Funnel Creation – This is where you learn about all the different parts of your marketing funnel, and how to get them built out to maximize conversions.
- Module 4 – Classroom Creation – This covers building out your member’s area, getting PDFs and other training materials created, setting up membership software and so on…
- Module 5 – Sales Messaging – Training on copywriting, hiring copywriters, selling via webinars, etc…
- Module 6 – Launches – Everything you need to know about launches.
- Module 7 – Growing Your Business – List building, scaling up, attracting affiliates and JV partners and a whole lot more…
There are also a ton of bonuses. It gets a bit confusing because there are two versions of the course, a Gold and a Platinum version. The Platinum one comes with everything in Gold, and then it also includes a bunch of additional bonuses (I’ll discuss the 2 versions a bit more in the conclusion…)
Anyhow, the real stand out bonuses that EVERYBODY gets are: Niche Detective (comprehensive niche research including the best affiliate offers to promote, the best keywords to bid on/optimize for, the best price points etc…), Expert By Association, The Brain Tank, and “Safe Hire” which provides resources for hiring the best designers, coders, developers and so forth…
And, in addition to all that, the thing that really sets this program apart (at least in my mind) is the rather insane level of support and handholding that you are getting from Anik and his team… Not only do you get weekly training webinars where you get ongoing training and support, but there are also DAILY Q & A webinars, every single day for the first 90 after enrollment closes. So you can literally ask questions and get them answered live every single day for three months. And of course you can also get support and answers to your question anytime through the website and the forum where Anik and his coaches will be logged in every day answering questions and helping you out…
Publish Academy Pros & Cons:
Pro 1: The amount of support you get – As I just mentioned, the level of support that you get in this program is like nothing I have ever heard of. I mean, even in college you can’t ask your professor questions every single day.
Pro 2: Learn from a top level digital publisher – While there may be other programs on this topic, the guys behind those programs are not doing the kind of sales volume Anik is. Most digital publishers who are as successful as Anik don’t teach their methods because they are too busy implementing them, so this is a unique chance to learn from somebody who has grown their business to the kind of level that many of us aspire to.
Pro 3: Get your funnels critiqued by experts – This is a platinum level bonus, and in my opinion this one bonus makes the Platinum level more than worth it. The bonus is called the “Expert Review Board” and basically what it is is you get ongoing guidance and feedback on whatever you want. So you can show the expert review board your funnel, your product etc… And then get their detailed feedback on it.
Pro 4: The most comprehensive blueprint you can find – Hopefully the breakdown of the video training that I included above gives you a sense of just how much ground this program covers. Basically everything there is related to digital publishing is fully covered so you should no exactly what you need to do every step of the way to be successful.
Pro 5: The Brain Tank – This is a bonus everybody gets (both Gold and Platinum level). You are getting 12 months of interviews with some of the most successful expert digital publishers across all of the most popular niches. In the right hands these are invaluable insights.
Pro 6: Module on “Growing Your Business” – One problem I’ve found with almost every IM program out there is that they show you how to scale things up to a point and then they stop. The great thing about this course, and this module in particular is that it shows you how to keep growing and growing. I mean really, why not grow this thing as big as it can get? And all the tools and information you need to do that is included in here, from strategies for expanding your portfolio of backend products, to finding the right affiliate products to promote, it’s all in here.
Pro 7: It’s the most up to date system – Obviously this is an all new training. Everything is brand new and completely up to date, and because Anik is at the top of his industry you know he is up on things.
Con 1: The marketing is “too good” – Okay… The fact is that Anik is a great marketer, so this program is going to attract some people who just aren’t cut out for it. I’m talking about people who have no spine, and no initiative, and expect that just because they buy a course that they are somehow entitled to instant success without putting in the required effort.
Con 2: No hard copy – Kind of nitpicky I know, but I do prefer the option to get a hard-copy of DVDs that I can hold in my hand and watch on the little DVD player in my car. But all things considered this isn’t much of an issue.
The Verdict…
Publish Academy is without a doubt the best program ever released on digital publishing. So, if you are looking to grow your digital publishing business then I highly
recommend it.
In regards to the Gold and Platinum levels… I think it really comes down to your personal situation. If you can afford the Platinum level then by all means I’d go for that one as the additional bonuses are well worth it.
But, if it’s just too much of a stretch, then just go for the Gold. The Gold has everything that you need, and you definitely won’t be disappointed, and I’m not positive, but there may be a way to upgrade to Platinum later on if you want to, I think you will find that’s it’s well worth it… Click Here for Early Bird Access to Anik Singal’s Publish Academy Now!
